Pictured here with Wright brothers Andrew and Chris William Hague MP when he called in for a pint at the Jubilee Refreshment Rooms in April.

Chris said 'We were taken by surprise by Mr Haighs visit to the Jubilee Refreshment Rooms, but we really enjoyed talking with him. He was extremely knowledgable about whatwe had been up to during our first few months of business.'

Chris went on to say 'When prompted by Mr Haigh on your recommendation on a beer, we pointed him in the direction of the Acorn Brewery of Barnsley. Jokingly he reared back and laughed;
"Oh no, no not Barnsley! Anything from Rotherham?"
We didn't have any I'm afraid so he finally chose a beer from Daleside, the nearest thing to Rotherham!'
